General Assembly

Every three years, the Federation’s General Assembly is organised. This unique meeting, which allows more than 250 universities to exchange, network and reflect together, is made up of two main parts:

  • An academic part, organized around a major theme that affects the future of our universities

  • An administrative part, to elect the President of the Federation, a new Board of Directors and to evaluate the work done by the outgoing Board of Directors.


In 2022, over 200 participants from all over the world met at Boston College, USA; in 2025, the General Assembly will be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, hosted by the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac
